Main Street to your hotel, casino to casino, dinner reservation, or the safe ride home at the end of the night. We run inside Deadwood and out to the neighborhoods and vacation homes around it. No trip is too short. If you have had a few, we would rather drive you than see you drive, and we will pick up day or night.

Where we go

We serve the whole northern Black Hills, including Lead, Central City, Spearfish, Whitewood, and the Highway 385 corridor, plus the vacation-home areas at Terry Peak, Gilded Mountain, Spearfish Canyon, Powder House Pass, Apple Springs, Elkhorn Ridge, and Boulder Canyon. Airbnb, VRBO, a bed-and-breakfast off a forest road. Give us the address and we will find it.

Beyond town, we run the routes people plan around:

• Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP): about an hour out, book ahead
• Mount Rushmore and Keystone: day trips with wait-and-return
• Spearfish, Sturgis, Lead: set rates between towns
• Special runs to Rapid City, the casinos, and anywhere in the Hills you need to be

How we charge

Trips between known points are flat-rate, quoted when you call. Longer or custom trips we quote by the ride. For airport and tour runs, book ahead and we lock the price and the time. We take cash only, so please come prepared. For late-night pickups after the bars, fare is collected up front.

Local and reliable

Northern Hills Taxi has been part of Deadwood since the business opened, and we are members of the Deadwood and Lead chambers of commerce. We run around the clock, every day, including the weekends and events when this town is busiest, including the Sturgis Rally, Kool Deadwood Nites, the Days of '76 Rodeo, and Wild Bill Days.
