The drive
Sturgis to Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) is roughly 37 miles and about 40 minutes, straight down I-90 and southeast to the terminal. Outside of August it is the easiest of our airport drives. During the Rally, plan for heavy traffic on I-90 and add real time to every estimate.

Our cars are AWD and 4WD, kept ready for snow and ice, and our drivers know these grades in bad weather and drive them safely. When a storm is coming, a booked ride beats hoping a rideshare makes the drive.
Rally rides
The first full week of August turns Sturgis into one of the biggest motorcycle gatherings anywhere, and airport runs spike with it. Riders fly into RAP, we carry them and their bags out to camp, and at the end of the week we run the reverse. Reserve Rally airport trips as far ahead as you can. Flat rate, set when you book
Sturgis to RAP is a flat fare quoted at booking. Rally-week pricing may differ from the off-season rate, and we will tell you the number when you call so there are no surprises. You pay in cash at the end; we take cash only, so come prepared.
Where we pick up in Sturgis
Downtown hotels, the casinos, the campgrounds, and private homes. Common pickups run from Main Street and Lazelle Street lodging out to the campgrounds north and east of town. Tell us the address and we will find you, even at 2 a.m. during the Rally.

- Main Street Sturgis: the heart of the Rally, dead quiet most of the year
- Bear Butte State Park: a sacred site and a climb with a long view, just northeast of town
Rapid City Regional Airport, quickly
RAP sits about 9 miles southeast of Rapid City and is open around the clock. Allegiant, American, Delta, United, and Sun Country fly there. It is a small terminal, so leave room on a Rally morning to check a bag and clear security. Airport information line: (605) 393-9924.
