The first full week of August

A number that answers when you need a ride.

The first full week of August, Sturgis turns into one of the largest motorcycle gatherings on earth, and the hardest thing to find is a ride when you actually need one. Book with a local company before the Rally and you have a number that answers. Call or text 605-717-1717.

Airport and concert rides fill first. Reserve early.

Rides to and from the campgrounds

We run to the big camps and everywhere around them. The Buffalo Chip sits on 600 acres at 20622 Fort Meade Way, a few miles east of Sturgis, and a ride out there at midnight is a different thing than finding it sober at noon. We also run Glencoe Camp Resort, the Sturgis-area campgrounds, and the private camps and rentals scattered across Meade County. Tell us the camp and the spot, and we will find you.

Concert nights at the Chip

The Buffalo Chip runs a concert series across the Rally, with national acts most nights through the week. Those nights end late, the lots are packed, and the ride back to camp is exactly when you do not want to be behind the wheel. We carry people from camp to the concert and back, and from the concert out to a hotel in Deadwood or Spearfish if that is where your bed is. Book your concert-night ride earlier in the day, because the phone gets busy when the last band finishes.

The bar runs

Main Street Sturgis, the Full Throttle Saloon, the Iron Horse Saloon, the Knuckle Saloon, and back to camp or your room. This is the heart of what we do during the Rally, the safe ride home for people who came to have a good time. If you have been drinking, we would rather drive you. Fare on late-night pickups is collected up front, and no trip is too short.

Airport runs during the Rally

Flying into Rapid City Regional (RAP) for the week? We meet your flight and run you and your gear straight out to camp or your hotel, about 40 minutes from the airport to Sturgis on a clear day, longer with Rally traffic. At the end of the week we run the reverse, camp to the airport, timed to your flight. These book up first, so reserve your airport trips as early as you can.

Why book ahead for the Rally

Demand during Rally week runs many times the normal load, and a car that is free when you call in February is spoken for in August. A reservation means a driver is assigned to your trip instead of you hoping one is loose. Give us your pickup, your destination, and your timing, and we lock it in. Rally pricing differs from our off-season rates, and we will tell you the number when you book so there are no surprises at the curb.
